Case: Building a cyber security assessment maturity tool for a recognized client in Norway

Here’s a brief description of how the development of a maturity assessment tool on a website were performed:

Requirement Gathering: The process began with a thorough understanding of the client’s needs and goals for the maturity assessment tool. This involved gathering requirements such as the specific areas of assessment, desired features, target audience, and integration with the website.

Planning and Design: A detailed project plan was created, outlining the development milestones, timeline, and resource allocation. Concurrently, the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design for the assessment tool were crafted to ensure ease of use and intuitive navigation.

Development: The development phase involved building the backend infrastructure and frontend components of the maturity assessment tool. This included implementing algorithms for scoring maturity levels, creating database schemas to store assessment data securely, and developing interactive frontend elements. For this assignment the client was focused on time to market and hence we primarily built the solution on a no-code program called bubble.io supported by HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Testing: Proper testing was conducted at each stage of the development cycle in order to ensure functionality, performance and security of the assessment tool. This included unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to identify and resolve any bugs or issues.
